Top 10 anime of 2019

2019 top 10 Anime

Before we make the list we want to make sure that we have made this list of top 10 best animes of 2019 based on the numbers of animes we have watched and researched so don’t get offended if you didn’t agree with our list as it is natural that what one likes may not be liked by others.
Also, there is one anime that I underestimated and didn’t give it much priority but the latest episode changed my mind.
That’s really exhilarating and you will soon know about the anime I’m talking about.
Also, we won’t be including ongoing series like OnePiece, Fairy Tail, Black Clover, else they would surely steal the fame lol.

10.Mob psycho 100 II

Release date: January 7-April 1(Winter Anime 2019)Episodes: 12Director: Yuzuru TachikawaAnimation studio: BonesGenre: Comedy, Action, Supernatural and Slice of Life

The story of a middle grader with massive psychic powers became a huge hit when the first series dropped in 2016. It returned this year with a sophomore season that expanded on the lore of Mob and his massive ESP skills. Where the first series established the strange status quo of Mob’s world—his school has a Telepathy Club and ghosts are the norm—the second builds on the drama and bombastic battles of Mob Psycho 100’s debut. The show sits somewhere between X-Men and Ghostbusters as Mob and his roguish mentor exorcise multiple spooky spirits whilst the young man tries to pass his classes and maybe even go on a date with his crush. It’s a supernatural slice of life with a whole bunch of awesome actions.

09.Vinland Saga

Release date: July 7-Dec 30(Summer Anime 2019)Episodes: 24Director: Shuhei YabutaAnimation studio: Wit StudioGenre: Action, Adventure, Historical, Drama and Seinen

Vinland Saga tells the journey of Thorfinn Karlsefni, a legendary Icelandic explorer as he embarks on a perilous quest to avenge the death of his father.
Initially set in the year 1002 A.D., the series follows Thorfinn’s story from childhood to adulthood, maturing from a lighthearted boy into a harsh, relentless warrior until finally leaving to colonize North America alongside Leif Erikson.
Drawing elements from real-life historical accounts, Vinland Saga is an intense and captivating fictionalized depiction of a fascinating, albeit under-discussed, the chapter of European history: the Vikings. Beneath the heart-pounding action and impressive animation pulses a resolutely humanist theme of anti-violence and pro-human decency, with Thorfinn’s father Thors imparting him with the life lesson that every human being is fighting a hard battle and that no one is truly his enemy.
Still early in its season, Vinland Saga has already secured its place as one of the year’s best.

8.Fire Force

In an alternate steampunk universe of our own, the world is besieged by a mysterious epidemic of spontaneous human combustion, transforming otherwise mild-mannered humans into ghoulish supernatural creatures known as “Infernals.”

dedicated to exorcising Infernals and defending Tokyo from their persistent threat. With an all-star production team of talent of the likes of chief animation director Hideyuki Morioka (Kizumonogatari), Hiroyuki Ookaji, Riki Matsuura, and Kazuhiro Miwa — many of whom previously worked together at StudioSHAFT — Fire Force is one of the most visually impressive and distinctive shonen series of the year. With starkly rendered background layouts, exciting fight sequences, and mischievous sense of fourth wall-prodding humor, Fire Force is this year’s hottest new action anime.

7.The Promised Neverland

Release date: Jan 10-March 29Director: Mamoru KanbeAnimation studio: CloverWorksGenre: Sci-Fi, Mystery, Horror, Psychological, Thriller, and Shounen(Winter Anime 2019)

Easily the most horrifying entry on our list, The Promised Neverland is a gothic chiller that pits a group of young orphans against a most horrible fate. Life at Grace Field House is close to idyllic for the children who live there, it’s a life of luxury that seems unusual for the often forgotten and marginalized group. Sadly for Emma and her friends who live there, it turns out the orphanage is actually a farm where human children are reared as delicacies for demons. The Promised Neverland offers up horror, adventure, and found family as the children fight for their lives.

Based on the manga by Osamu Tezuka, it’s an action thriller about the main character, Hyakkimaru, literally finding himself. Before Hyakkimaru was born, his father made a deal with 12 demons for wealth and power to protect his dying territory. The price for that power was 48 body parts from his next child. Guess who the baby was?
This series shows the struggling adventure of Hyakkimaru to retake his body parts that were sacrificed to demons by his father Daigo Kagemitsu of the Ishikawa province.
One of the darkest series of 2019 winter, it’s a fantastic series for those looking for more serious fare.

It would have been number one on our list if we didn’t consider the one we kept at the top of this list.
Kimetsu no Yaiba follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young charcoal merchant turned demon slayer, as he sets out on a journey of discovery and revenge to not only avenge his family’s slaughter by a demon but to find a cure for his younger sister Nezuko, who survived their family’s attack only to be transformed into a feral half-demon with an aversion to sunlight. Ufotable is perhaps best known for their work on the Fate franchise, a byzantine dark fantasy series renowned for its dazzling fight sequences and digital  animation; fortunately, those qualities carry over to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

01.Attack on Titan Season3 part 2

Release date: April 29-July 1(Spring Anime 2019)Episodes: 10Director: Tetsuro ArakiAnimation studio: Wit StudioGenre: Action, Military, Mystery, Superpower, Drama, Fantasy, and Shounen

We put this anime at the top of our list because of the aura and the suspense it created among its fans.
This season was full of mysteries and revelations and new explorations. More heart aching deaths, Full of action and rage.
The second part of season3 is a continuation of season3 and clearly displays how much of a genius the mangaka, Isayuma, is when it comes to storytelling. While many story-centric anime shows thrive on super-complex plots, ‘Attack on Titan‘ uses its simple foundation to create an unforgettable piece of art. Think about it, the show was initially all about giant naked monstrous people, three really strong walls and humans residing in the condiments of those walls. But with time, just by using these simple fundamental ideas, the series has turned into an incredibly thought-out complex story. It’s sad to know that an anime that has delivered one of the best stories and visuals, is finally coming to an end in 2020. But what brings peace to most fans is the fact that throughout its runtime, ‘Attack on Titan’ managed to excel in every possible way.
